Public Transportation
As BU continues investing in expanding academic and research facilities on the Charles River Campus, parking capacity will continue to decrease. Reducing drive-alone vehicle demand is an essential component of the University’s Transportation Demand Management (TDM) plan and students are encouraged not to drive alone to campus unless absolutely necessary.
The Charles River Campus is conveniently accessible by MBTA subway, bus and commuter rail, on foot or by bicycle. Additionally, those who must drive can save on parking permit costs by commuting with others and sharing the expense.
Visit the BU Parking & Transportation Services website to learn amore about the commuting options available to students.
